Partner, Joe’s Pizza NYC

Ian Lafkowitz

I met Claudia back in 2019 shortly after opening Joe's Pizza in Ann Arbor.  It was our first location outside of NYC after 45 years of business.  I was hesitant to engage in any marketing, but Claudia  immediately emerged as an ally.  She's enthusiastic, organized, proficient, and most importantly, TENACIOUS.  Together, we accomplished some marketing initiatives with the athletic program that proved highly successful, and were just outside the box.

Since meeting Claudia in 2019, we've remained in touch, and I never hesitate to get her perspective on ideas.  She always takes on the challenge with excitement, determined to help me achieve my goals.  She's a problem solver.  She's a force.  And she cares deeply about her work.

I was referred to Claudia by a mutual friend just as I was starting my sports marketing agency. I had seen a handful of her successful marketing initiatives with athletes on social media, so I figured she was the right individual at Snackpass to discuss the new NCAA rule change, enabling athletes to profit from their Name, Image, & Likeness.

All it took was a 30-minute virtual meeting for her to conceptualize one of the first NIL marketing programs in the country, Snackletes. Claudia’s effective organizational and communication skills were on display in the onboarding process. Within two weeks from our first call, Claudia had already onboarded three of the most high-profile athletes at the University of Michigan.

Claudia’s genuine excitement for the partnership and the people she was working with made the Snacklete partnership a major success. The interpersonal skills she possesses combined with her strong business acumen make Claudia an excellent addition to any team, especially in the marketing industry.

Claudia and I worked together throughout our time at Wharton on various clubs and engagements.

She single-handedly breathed new life into the Travel and Hospitality Club. She used her marketing skills to turn what was once a small community of students into one of the most engaged and prolific professional clubs on campus.

No example is more prescient than the way she organized the club’s annual trek to NYC. Not only did she arrange visits to top companies, but she also ensured the trek’s success by generating a long list of signups. Working with Claudia was a true pleasure.
